Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store


1. Assessing customers' needs and suggesting solutions to their problems


2. Working with cash registers and processing payments


3. Setting and attaining sales goals


4. Giving customers advice about sales and promotions


5. Using upselling techniques to increase store sales


6. Recommending the best products to customers


7. Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing


8. Recruit, hire and train new managers in their direct area


9. Offer consultation and recommendations to store managers on overcoming operations challenges


10. Monitor sales and work toward meeting quarterly objectives


11. Minimize cost and labor by reviewing schedules and inventory use


12. Must be able to work on weekends and public holiays.
