This is a newly created Revenue/Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager position with a global shipping company. Finance is expanding its headcount in the AR team to support to growing needs.

With a strong desire for continuous growth and development, the team is hiring an additional headcount in the Revenue team to monitor performance of local revenue.

Description

Report to the GM, Finance, you will be:

• Responsible for smooth operation of AR functions, bridging communication between local and HQ
• Generate reports, work closely with relevant Business Units to measure performance and variance against KPIs set
• Work closely with Shared Services team to ensure timely ageing/billings and healthy collections
• Maintain proper authorisation and controls of SOP
• Review and implement improvements to work flow, recommend automation to streamline processes

Profile

• Degree qualified in Accounting & Finance, with at least 5 years of working experience in the relevant function
• Able to work in a fast pace environment, comfortable managing voluminous financial data
• Good business partnering skills to engage with external stakeholders including bankers, customers etc
• Experience leading a team and working with Shared service environment, shipping industry exposure will be advantageous
• Organised, experience with integration of automation into work flow processes
