The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to): * Reporting to the RF Manager * Responsible for the RF design and planning for assigned indoor sites such as com The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to): Reporting to the RF Manager Responsible for the RF design and planning for assigned indoor sites such as commercial/residential buildings and public transport infrastructure (MRT and road tunnels) Carry out site survey and RF measurements/walk test Post-process and analysis of walk test results. Prepare in-building designs using iBwave software Prepare and review technical site survey proposals Work closely with RF/project/SA/RAN team and coordination/liaising with external parties (contractors, building owners/management, other mobile operators, etc) Prepare site/cell RF information and maintain parameter database Monitor and analyze network performance KPI statistics Recommend and plan site enhancements and/or parameter optimisation to improve network capacity and performance Review As-Built Documentation Provide on-site RF troubleshooting & optimization support Prepare daily, weekly and monthly network performance reports Provide engineering support to NOC/Customer Service team for customer complaint cases Prepare and update customer complaint trackers and reports The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role: Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering fields Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in designing and deploying 4G/LTE mobile telecommunication wireless networks Demonstrate passion in RF / Wireless Technologies Competent in RF coverage/capacity design, cell planning and key KPI performance parameters & counters Good understanding of 4G mobility concepts and parameter planning Various RAN and antenna systems including RRU, small cells, passive/active DAS, repeaters, LCX and active antenna systems. LTE air interface. Familiarity with LTE signalling flow will be advantageous Proficiency in using these software / tools is required iBwave Design Enterprise Nemo Handy, Nemo Analyzer MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word Google Earth Pro Proficiency in these software / tools will be advantageous MS Excel (Pivot, Query, Macros, etc) GIS Tools (Mapinfo, QGIS) CAD Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills Possess strong data analysis skills Have good attitude and willing to learn and pick up new skills Able to work in a past paced environment including delivering of work in short timelines
