Job Description

My client is a Leading Telecommunication Company looking for a RF Telecommunication Engineer.

• East / 5 Days / Up to $6000 / Must have Class 3 License
• Good knowledge in Radio planning, optimization and troubleshooting in LTE mobile network
• Good Knowledge on 4G radio access technologies, antenna systems and RF

Job Scope:

• Responsible for 4G site rollout, perform site survey, site design, testing, commissioning and drive test to ensure network mee the KPI.
• Responsible for managing, monitoring and tracking all engineering activities; to ensure that these activities are completed efficiently within shortest time frame.
• Responsible for inbuilding design and handle customer complaints.
• Prepare project schedule and ensure all milestones and dateline are met.
• Source for suitable equipment and materials required for the project.
• Handle the technical portion for the tender project. Check through tender documents to raise concerns.
• Liaise, manage and monitor contractors and suppliers. Ensure the contractors and suppliers schedule meet the timeline and milestones.
• Provide design and costing for the projects and liaise with customers for all issues on the project.
• Check the quotes from contracts and suppliers and negotiate with them.
• Manage, monitor, troubleshoot the 4G network and ensure it meet the grade of services.
• Manage, monitor, troubleshoot any services and technical trial implemented by the company.
• Attend to customer complaints, provide solutions and costings for iDEN, Tetra, LTE, GRIDTalk and any other services provided by the company.
• Preparation of documentation and presentation required.
• Preparation of progress report for the team activities.
• Monitor the spares required for the operation of the network and project.
• Be contactable 24x 7 and performance standby duties for faults, major events as required by the company.

Requirement:

• Relevant tertiary education qualification/certification majoring in Telecommunications, Electronics or related disciplines
• Experience in working with 4G network is preferred.
• Good knowledge in Radio planning, optimization and troubleshooting in LTE mobile network
• Good Knowledge on 4G radio access technologies, antenna systems and RF.
• Well versed with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, acrobat, etc.
• Experience in leading a team
• Must have a Class 3 driving licence
• Comfortable to work on rooftops, construction sites and tunnels.
• No height phobia.
• Able to perform overtime work when required.
• Good team player with good attitude.
• Able to speak in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese counterpart.
