Job Description

Job Scope:

\xc2\xb7 Reporting to the RF manager

\xc2\xb7 Perform site selection, site survey, site planning, radio network planning, RF planning, capacity planning, link budget and acceptance test for iDEN, TETRA and 4G network

\xc2\xb7 Perform drive test, post-processing, analysis the drive test data, identify any problem and rectify the problems

\xc2\xb7 Analyse network statistic and perform RF optimization for Tetra and 4G sites and performance monitoring

\xc2\xb7 Attend customer complaints, identify, and rectify customer problem. Track the complaints ticket to ensure the tickets are closed within a short time frame

\xc2\xb7 Design the inbuilding system, perform the coverage test, analyse the coverage test data, identify any problem and rectify the problem

\xc2\xb7 Preparation of documentation

\xc2\xb7 Lead Project and ensure the milestones are met

\xc2\xb7 Familiar with RF planning and testing tools such as Atoll, Nemo Handy, Nemo Analyzer, Google Earth, MapInfo Professional etc.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in 4G mobile network and has knowledge on RAN and Core

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with contractor, customer, building owner and other stakeholders. Attend internal and external meetings with various levels i.e project managers, RF managers, vendors, contractors etc.

\xc2\xb7 To perform all assistant tasks delegated by Supervisor

\xc2\xb7 Perform Proof of Concept and Trial for any technologies

\xc2\xb7 To perform standby after office hr and when required by the company.

\xc2\xb7 Able to be recalled after working hours to handle emergency situations.

Requirement:

\xc2\xb7 Tertiary education qualification majoring in Telecommunications, Electronics or related disciplines

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years of RF planning & optimization experience in LTE mobile network deployment.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent in the fundamentals of network planning, radio access technologies and antenna systems.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in multi-vendor wireless equipment operation and network optimization.

\xc2\xb7 Well versed with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, acrobat, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Linus, SIP, Unix, AWS Cloud will be added advantage

\xc2\xb7 Must have class 3 driving licence and has minimum 1 year of driving experience
