$15K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours

Location: West

Responsibilities

• Manage the price risk for global Tropical and Lauric oil
• Align the direction of the Commodity Risk Management with business and deliver performance targets within business risk management parameters and policy
• Lead and own the global tropical oils risk management strategy including providing accurate price forecasts, deriving strategies complementing the forecasts and ensure execution of the strategies in compliance with internal policies and hedge accounting principles
• As Business moves towards sustainable sourcing closer to origin markets, devise a futuristic risk management strategy complementing our sustainability goals
• Strive for best in class market price forecasts for all materials under scope - generate insights from all known info sources and communicate to the business
• Develop a strong info collection network - leverage suppliers, other growers, reports, funds information and a wider macro context. Lead commodity research in Tropical oils and Laurics
• Engage business stakeholders to communicate the view of CRM and the strategy. Show curiosity to understand the business context in each market and provide relevant solutions thereof.
• Maintain proper inventory control

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Agriculture Trading, Research, or Procurement is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
