The Right Profile



As a Risk Manager for a licensed financial institution you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating operational risks within the company. This role ensures the company's operations comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices, while minimizing risks related to processes, systems, people, and external events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and has a strong understanding of the company's operations and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and maintain the company's operational risk management framework, policies, and procedures.

Identify and assess operational risks across business units, including fraud, process failures, IT risks, and third-party risks.

Lead risk assessments, scenario analyses, and stress testing to evaluate potential vulnerabilities, including leading the Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and identify residual risks.

Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and report on risk exposures to senior management and relevant committees.

Investigate operational risk incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

Collaborate with departments such as compliance, internal audit, and IT to ensure a cohesive risk management approach.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Provide training and guidance to staff on operational risk awareness and best practices.

Prepare and present risk reports, dashboards, and metrics to senior management and regulators.

Stay updated on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry trends to enhance the risk management framework.

Monitor the timely closure of audit and risk-related findings, coordinating with relevant departments to implement remedial actions.
