Purpose: RM analyst is in charge of revenue maximization of part of APAC resorts by managing village capacity and sales resources, monitoring sales trend, and applying different yielding levers. She/He works closely with other functions in RMP on strategic topics, identifies risk and opportunities to gain revenue. She/He is also a key contact cross different departments/BU for requests related with resorts in charge and transversal projects.

Responsibilities: Responsible to maximize the revenue of APAC villages by ensuring all RM techniques are approriately used : Forecasting, Yielding strategy, Pricing and promotion process, etc. Adapt working process / methodology with the company strategy and orientations

1. Maximize revenue of a portfolio of resorts by setting up key yielding rules, implementing strategy and follow up through the season

  • Maximize the revenue of a portfolio of resorts via different yield levers (forecast, promotion, capacity, length of stay, upgrade, group etc.).
  • Define the RM strategy before each opening of sales, do proposal on pricing, seasonality, capacity, yield levels etc.
  • Adapt yielding strategy according to the trends observed, the context and the needs from markets, with frequent manual adjustment of RM levels in system.
  • Guarantee the reliability of forecast, the consistency and propoer use of the yield levers based on strategy and business needs.
2.Closely monitor the business performance, ensure clear and in-time communiucation on key info/ RM actions/ strategy/ recommendation
  • Ensure smooth and efficient communication between RM and other RMP functions on key info / decision / strategy.
  • Monitor the performance of resorts in charge and provide macro-vision actions recommendation on Revenue Management, Pricing, Group issues etc. to improve business performance.
  • Participate in meeting / business review with analyses and inputs, communicate on RM strategy/actions when relevant, recommendation, action proposal, alert.
3.Challenge working process and tools to improve sales fluidity, operation efficiency and accuracy
  • Be a force of proposal concerning the evolution of internal processes and transversal relations. Regularly review and challenge existing process/methods to standardize the working process and gain efficiency.
  • Listen to feedback from the field to improve and adapt processes in order to match RM actions with the strategic challenges of the company.
  • Liaise with other BUs RM team to get relevant tools and implement good practices
4.Participate in different projects related to RM and the implementation in APAC
  • Participate in test & implementation of new yielding system in APAC with focus on resorts in charge. Actively participate in brainstorming, workshop with feedback and improvement proposal, define working.
  • Support company projects development. For global projects, work together with other RMP team members, provide necessary info and ensure APAC specifities/interests been took into consideration in projects. For local projects, support project team with proposal, recommendation or necessary info. Been a key member for RM related system development testing and implementation in APAC
  • Participate in new projects B-case Topline proposal with RMP inputs on room reclass, price positioning and volume estimation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Degree in Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in Revenue Management field
  • Possess knowledge on Revenue Management
  • Solution oriented team player with strong analytical background
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Possess good verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
