We are seeking a part-time Robotics and Coding Instructor to teach and lead our coding and robotics enrichment programmes for children aged 4 to 16. The ideal candidate has a passion for robotics, programming, and education, with experience teaching and managing children in a classroom setting.
As a Robotics and Coding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective robotics and coding curricula, managing and maintaining robotics equipment, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver robotics and coding curricula for students of various ages and skill levels
Teach students how to use robotics equipment and programming software
Manage and maintain robotics sets, including equipment and supplies
Evaluate student progress and provide feedback and support to students and parents
Stay up to date with developments in robotics technology and education
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
Participate in professional development and training opportunities
Requirements
Experience teaching and managing children in a classroom setting preferred
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scratch, and Java
Familiarity with robotics equipment and software, including LEGO SPIKE, LEGO Essential, and VEX Robotics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to adapt to evolving technology and education trends
Strong organizational and time management skills
