Follow @abbvie on , , , and .Purpose Statement:This Robotics Application Engineer is responsible to design, develop, customize, commission, maintain and improve various robotic automation systems to help ensure consistency and right first time in site operations execution, while increasing labor productivity and maintaining safety performance through elimination of high labor or ergonomically challenged work. The robotic systems consist and not limited to site Operations robotic systems (with its integrated auxiliary manufacturing process equipment) and autonomous mobile robot (AMR), including integration with other enterprise systems and other equipment systems.Supporting the site Factory of the Future vision and deliverables, this role ensures efficient and reliable systems, maximizes productivity and cost efficiency while adhering to site safety and quality standards.Major Responsibilities:Design & commission phase * Engage the internal stakeholders and analyze user needs to develop concept, design, customize, debug and commission semi / fully automated robotic systems to fulfill requirement of end user use cases, to improve labor productivity, process consistency, right first time execution, while improving safety and quality performance.
