Roles and responsibilities: 1. Understand the service robot completely, software, hardware, positioning logic. 2. Deploy and demonstrate of robots at the customers\' sites. 3. Provide training to users and restaurant managers. 4. On-site technical support and repair. 5. Understand customer\'s workflow, design the automated workflow according to customer\'s business needs, which addresses the customer\'s pain point. 6. Buddy system within the company for better internal training and coaching. 7. System integration opportunity to handle complex projects.
Learning outcomes and objectives:
Technical: 1. The interns will learn how a real robot works in the restaurant and other environment. Understand the LiDAR sensor, vision sensor, SLAM and marker system etc. 2. Learn how a good UI/UX would benefit the users and influence the behaviours. 3. Open their mind on how they could design robots in the future.
Personal development: 1. Learn about accountability, leadership and teamwork. 2. Coaching style mentorship in the daily work, so that they can learn important thinking process for their future benefits. 3. Ad hoc internal sharing and Q&A with regards to the career and personal development.
Job Requirements
1. Pursuing a degree in robotics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering. 2. The interns are required with high GPA. 3. Good attitude towards the study, work and life. 4. Easy going and good communication skills. 5. Willing to do OT when required. 6. Passionate in robots.
