Upon entering our lobby, you\'ll be greeted by birdcage-inspired lighting and abacus-themed pillars, adding a distinctive touch to your stay.Conveniently located near Havelock and Tiong Bahru MRT stations and just a short walk from various food districts, our hotel provides easy access to the Central Business District, Orchard Shopping Belt, and popular attractions such as Sentosa, Universal Studios Singapore, Gardens by the Bay, and the Singapore Flyer.Position Summary: The Housekeeping Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall tidiness in guest rooms and public areas of the hotel.Key Responsibilities:Room Maintenance:\xc2\xb7 Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing amenities.\xc2\xb7 Ensure all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures are dusted and sanitized.Public Areas:\xc2\xb7 Clean and maintain the cleanliness of public areas, such as lobbies, corridors, and restrooms.\xc2\xb7 Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed.Stock Replenishment:\xc2\xb7 Ensure that all necessary supplies, such as towels, toiletries, and linens, are well-stocked in guest rooms.\xc2\xb7 Report any shortages or defects in supplies to the Housekeeping Supervisor.Laundry Coverage:\xc2\xb7 Cover laundry duty, including the meticulous collection and delivery of guest laundry.\xc2\xb7 Conduct a thorough count of soiled linen and ensure the efficient distribution of freshly cleaned linen to uphold the highest standards of guest satisfaction.Guest Interaction:\xc2\xb7 Interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner when encountered.\xc2\xb7 Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.Equipment Maintenance:\xc2\xb7 Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment, including vacuum cleaners and cleaning tools.\xc2\xb7 Report any malfunctioning equipment to the maintenance department.Defect Identification:\xc2\xb7 Identify and report any defects, damages, or maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas.\xc2\xb7 Report any lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.Security and Confidentiality:\xc2\xb7 Adhere to security and confidentiality policies when entering guest rooms or handling personal belongings.\xc2\xb7 Respect guest privacy and confidentiality.Safety Compliance:\xc2\xb7 Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.\xc2\xb7 Report any safety hazards or concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.Shift Reporting:\xc2\xb7 Provide shift reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor, highlighting completed tasks and any outstanding issues.Team Collaboration:\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure a coordinated and efficient workflow.Qualifications and Requirements:\xc2\xb7 No experience required but previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is advantageous.\xc2\xb7 Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods.\xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\xc2\xb7 Excellent time management and organizational skills.\xc2\xb7 Understanding of safety and hygiene standards.\xc2\xb7 Good communication skills.\xc2\xb7 Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.\xc2\xb7 Able to start work immediately or short notice will be an advantageApplication InstructionsInterested applicants, walk-in on site for interview from 1000-1700hrs, Monday-Friday
