Job Description

Operate Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV)

Perform ROV piloting during subsea inspection, survey, construction support and repair work.


Execute tasks such as visual inspection, seabed survey, pipeline inspection, and equipment positioning.

ROV System Operation & Maintenance

Conduct pre-dive checks, system testing and post-dive maintenance.


Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues on ROV systems.


Ensure proper functioning of control systems, sensors, cameras and tooling equipment.

Offshore Project Support

Work closely with offshore supervisors, engineers and diving teams.


Support subsea operations on offshore vessels, platforms, and subsea structures.


Follow project plans, risk assessments and safety procedures.

Reporting & Documentation

Record dive logs, inspection reports, video footage and daily activity logs.


Report technical issues and ensure maintenance records are updated.

Safety Compliance

Adhere to company and client offshore safety standards (including PTW, JSA, toolbox meetings).


Maintain safe operations in line with IMCA R006/ROV industry guidelines.

Qualifications

Diploma / Technical Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Marine or related engineering field. IMCA-recognised ROV Pilot training (preferred but not always mandatory).

Experience

Minimum 1-2 years experience in ROV operations, marine, subsea, offshore or related technical work. Experience with ROV piloting, repair, inspection or offshore equipment handling will be an advantage.

Skills

Able to operate and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems. Familiar with subsea operations and offshore vessel work environment. Good understanding of ROV safety procedures and offshore standards.

Other Requirements

Willing to work offshore and travel as required. Must hold valid offshore certificates such as

BOSIET/FOET + Medical (OGUK)

. Able to work in rotation and under challenging offshore conditions. * Physically fit and safety-conscious.
