About the role

Reporting to the group Finance Director and assisting regional Finance managers, the Royalties Manager will primarily focus on obtaining accurate and timely royalty forecasts from licensees across the APAC region, as well as ensuring cash is collected promptly according to invoices raised and distributed to licensees.

Responsibilities

  • Assists regional Finance managers in obtaining, analysing, reviewing, verifying, and reconciling licensee royalty reports for all licensing commercial agreements within the region using the WestEnd royalties management system.
  • Distributes sales invoices to licensees, resolves licensee queries and performs effective credit control to collect cash.
  • Assists regional Finance managers in managing withholding tax processes for the region, obtaining necessary documentation from licensors and supplying to licensees to minimise WHT deductions.
  • Prepare and File WHT submission as required by Agent and brand owner.
  • Together with local commercial teams, assists regional Finance managers in preparing local licensee budgets and forecasts. These will contribute to the CPLG group annual budget and quarterly reforecasts as well as individual licensor forecasts.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant local accounting regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working within a related finance role.
  • Royalties experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and business liaison skills.
  • Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) and able to work with large sets of data.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance and successfully complete multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills with skill to multitask.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • A strong attention to detail.
