Scope of Services

1) Support the RPA Ops Manager, DSTO1 in delivering RPA capabilities. 2) Support the following key tasks: a) RPA Development Coaching. RPA Bots in MINDEF/SAF are self-developed by business users. The RPA system Analyst\xe2\x80\x99s role would be to provide coaching and guidance to MINDEF/SAF\xe2\x80\x99s RPA Developers in creating their own bots. b) User Engagement. Engagement with RPA project teams in order to impart good RPA software development techniques to create efficient, secure and maintainable RPA bots. c) Code Review: Perform code review with MINDEF\xe2\x80\x99s RPA developers to ensure that the bots developed are within MINDEF/SAF\xe2\x80\x99s guidance and best practices. Ensure that the prerequisite documentation is provided by the RPA project teams. d) RPA CoE Operations. To carry out the day to day operations of the RPA CoE, located at the RPA Foundry. This includes taking stock of RPA development terminals, shepherding RPA project teams towards successful implementation of their bots, and ensuring the RPA Foundry adheres to social distancing safety management practices. To also work with the product vendor to resolve RPA product issues encountered in MINDEF/SAF. e) Conduct RPA Workshops. To run the occasional RPA workshop to educate MINDEF/SAF personnel in the development of their RPA bots. f) Additional RPA knowhow. Guide SMC in the installation of RPA software. Capability scanning for the latest RPA product features, including OCR, AI and computer vision technologies. g) Process Modelling. Execution of Business Process Management and/or digital transformation efforts including formulating user requirements, planning process review sessions, facilitating in Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and/or digital transformation projects and developing process models in accordance with Ops Support IT (OSIT) Enterprise Architecture Standards. h) User Engagement. Engagement of users in order to develop good understanding of user operations (needs and challenges) and develop good rapport with users.

Key Deliverables: Endorsed RPA Bots and submitted reports for assigned RPA and/or digital transformation projects. The deliverables are expected to be submitted on a yearly (Financial Year) basis.

Qualification, Skill & Experience of the Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s Personnel

• The candidate(s) should possess a Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Systems, Information Resource Management (or equivalent).
  

• Applied knowledge in RPA Development with UiPath. Prior experience in business process, review projects and experience in software developments projects would be relevant but not mandatory.
  

• Conversant with process modelling and experience with Ops support IT (OSIT) EA standards.

• Possess the ability to deliver quality documentation, in terms of the ability to frame discussion issues in the right context and the ability to express viewpoints using clear and concise language.
  

• Possess good communication and presentation skills, interpersonal skills, highly organized and effective and a good team player.
  

• Applied knowledge in Business Process Management (BPM) work, with prior contributions in business process review projects and relevant experience in the area of Business Process Re-engineering (BPR)), design thinking skills, knowledge of IDEF0 process modelling.
  

• Conversant with process modelling and experience with Ops Support IT (OSIT) Enterprise Architecture Standards.
  

• At least 2 years of working experience in information technology; of which at least 1 year of working experience in RPA and BPM implementations.
  

• Experience in project management / project co-ordination.
