Ensure all documentation complies with
MOM, LTA, and client-specific safety requirements
.
Maintain version control of safety documents in line with ISO and company documentation standards.
Compile monthly safety statistics, audit findings, and inspection reports for submission to management and clients.
Liaise with client safety officers on document reviews, submission deadlines, and rectifications.
Ensure all safety-related correspondence (email, memos, reports) are drafted in clear and professional English.
2. Site Coordination & Monitoring
Conduct site inspections and safety walks under supervision of the Safety Manager.
Observe work activities and identify unsafe acts or conditions.
Coordinate corrective actions with site supervisors and subcontractors.
Verify that PPE compliance, housekeeping, and barricading standards are met daily.
Assist in ensuring all workers attend safety inductions and maintain valid safety training certificates.
3. Training, Briefings & Communication
Assist in organizing and documenting safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
Keep attendance records, photos, and minutes properly filed.
Prepare communication materials (posters, memos, reminders) to promote safety awareness among workers.
4. Incident Management
Support incident / near-miss investigations by gathering information, witness statements, and photos.
Prepare formal incident reports and track follow-up actions until closure.
Maintain strict confidentiality on all incident-related information.
5. Compliance & Audit
Assist in preparing for internal and external safety audits.
Maintain updated records for:
Equipment inspection and calibration
Worker training matrix
Safety certificates (CSOC, First Aid, etc.)
Support ISO 45001 and BizSafe Star documentation and compliance activities.
6. Other Duties
Perform night shift or weekend duties when required by project schedule.
Work outdoors and at site locations, including harsh or confined environments.
Assist in emergency response drills and safety campaigns.
Any other safety-related tasks assigned by the management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Excellent written and spoken English
-- must be able to draft and review official documentation accurately.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF documentation.
Able to handle tight deadlines and work under strict compliance rules.
Willing to work
night shifts

weekends
, and
in challenging site conditions
when required.
Positive attitude, proactive learner, and respectful communicator.
Candidates with valid
CSOC / Safety Coordinator Certificate
or
ISO 45001 audit knowledge
will be an advantage.
