Job Description

Ensure the provision of the Workplace Safety & Health Act and any Regulations made there under are complied with. Promote the safe conduct of the work generally within the worksite. Promote good safety & health practices. Familiar himself with the Main Contractor's Safety Management System. Inspect and rectify any Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) Non-compliance's at site. Ensure compliance of the in-house rules and regulation on safety, health & security by the workmen on site. Conduct daily tool box meeting to workmen. Ensure all administrative records; documents are timely submitted to the Safety Section (e.g. PPE, PTW, Security Pass Applications, SWP, Risk Assessment, etc.) Alert team members of emergency situations and potential escalation of incidents and accidents. Carry out initiatives to support WSH programmes. Ad hoc works assigned by HOD.

Job Requirements

Registered safety officer with MOM.WSQ Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B). Proficient in Chinese communication and writing. Have experience in ship safety management. * In good health and capable of undertaking on-site safety inspection work.
