Tecson Engineering is seeking a highly experienced and proactive
Safety Coordinator
with a minimum of
3 years of experience in LTA/SMRT rail-related projects
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of safety compliance, training, and documentation across our projects and office operations.

internal safety trainings
for all staff levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with
LTA, SMRT, MOM, and WSH regulations
across all job sites.
Prepare and maintain all
safety documentation
, including risk assessments, safe work procedures, incident reports, and ISO audit materials.
Conduct regular
safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and safety audits
.
Plan, manage, and
conduct internal safety trainings
and refreshers for office and site employees.
Oversee all
training records, schedules, and certifications
, ensuring all personnel are properly qualified and trained.
Lead
incident investigations
, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Maintain and update
ISO/OHSMS documentation
and support continuous certification and regulatory compliance.
Organise and lead
emergency drills
, safety briefings, and evacuation procedures.
Act as the
main liaison
for all safety-related matters with clients, consultants, and government agencies.
Drive and promote a strong
safety culture
across all departments and project teams.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of safety experience
in
LTA or SMRT rail projects
is
mandatory
.
Possess relevant
WSH qualifications
(e.g., WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Coordinator Course).
Sound knowledge of
WSH Act, ISO 45001, ISO 14001
, and relevant safety standards.
Strong in
documentation and audit preparation
.
Excellent
written and spoken English
as you are required to do trainings and prepare reports for submissions.
Must be a
firm, proactive, and detail-oriented
team player.
Comfortable conducting
training sessions
and enforcing safety policies across all levels.
