Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Workplace Safety & Health (WSH):

Develop, implement, and enforce WSH policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., MOM, NEA, SCDF). Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Investigate workplace incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures. Organize and lead safety training sessions and emergency response drills (e.g., fire drills, first aid). Maintain accurate records and documentation, including incident reports and work permits. Liaise with regulatory agencies on safety matters and ensure timely renewal of required certifications.

Facilities Management:

Manage daily facility operations, including utilities, equipment, infrastructure, and overall cleanliness. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs, servicing, and preventive maintenance. Monitor and oversee key building systems such as lighting, HVAC, fire safety, and security. Ensure compliance with building codes and environmental regulations. Oversee inventory and procurement of maintenance and safety supplies. Assist in space planning and layout optimization for operational efficiency.

Requirements:

MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer. Minimum Diploma or NITEC in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field. Certified WSH Representative or equivalent (preferred). At least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting. Solid understanding of local safety regulations and facility operations. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
