Job Description
$6500 + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours
Location: North
Responsibilities
- To manage the company\'s safety and health management system
- To lead the Risk Management Team
- Raise, build and improve staff\'s safety and health awareness and competencies
- Advise the researchers on the safety measures to be taken in the laboratories
- Responsible for managing research laboratories and testing facility to ensure safe and smooth operation for the conduct of R&D work.
- Scheduled regular maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
- Responsible for safety of laboratories and facility including housekeeping, proper storage and disposal of chemicals and wastes and upkeeping of safety and emergency equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and liaise with Singapore government agencies to apply or renew required statutory licenses for explosives and precursor materials manufacturing and storage.
- Degree or diploma in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Explosive Engineering / Materials Science and Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Safety and health knowledge of a chemical R&D and production environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
