SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations.
• Inspecting production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe.
• Participating in continuing education to update knowledge of health and safety protocols and techniques.
• Meeting company health and safety goals.
• Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site.
• Liaising with law enforcement and other investigators who are present at the time of a serious accident.

• Reviewing and reporting on the staff's compliance with health and safety rules and recommending commendations or dismissal based on performance.
• Plan and implement OHS policies and programs.
• Prepare safety educational training and seminars on a regular basis.
• Review existing Safety, Health policies and procedures.
• Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for Safety Health and Environment work standards.
• Conduct risk assessment program.
• Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with the Safety Health rules and regulations.

• Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
• Conducts safety audits both internal and on sub-contractors works.
• Takes part in accident / incident investigation and carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
• Represent the company in all safety regulating government agencies.
• Represent the Company in DOLE-BWC and other government agencies concerning work safety.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in any Technical Course.

• Must be accredited by DOLE-Bureau of Working Condition as Safety Practitioner and a member of any safety organization.
• Must be familiar with DOLE's Safety Standards and could identify hazards at workplace and observe proper work procedures.
• Required Skill(s): Knowledge in Safety Standards and specifications, result oriented with sound decision making, Good interpersonal and analytical skills, Computer Literate, Proficient in both oral and written communication.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary

• Santa Rosa City, Laguna: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
