We are looking for a committed Safety Officer cum ECO to ensure that all workplace safety, health, and environmental standards are upheld across our construction projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in promoting a safe and environmentally responsible worksite in compliance with MOM, NEA, BCA, and other regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Safety & Health (WSH):


Implement and monitor the company's Workplace Safety & Health Management System (WSHMS). Conduct daily site safety inspections and ensure compliance with statutory regulations, codes of practice, and company policies. Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective and preventive measures. Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions for workers. Investigate and report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions. Liaise with relevant authorities (MOM, SCDF, BCA, etc.) and ensure submission of safety documents as required.
Environmental Control Officer (ECO):


Implement and enforce environmental control measures at the worksite. Ensure compliance with NEA, PUB, and BCA environmental regulations (e.g. noise control, vector control, air quality, silt traps, housekeeping). Conduct regular inspections on environmental aspects such as drainage, mosquito breeding, waste disposal, and dust/noise control. Keep proper records of environmental monitoring and inspections. Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure environmental best practices are observed.

Requirements

Registered WSH Officer with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA. At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in construction safety and environmental control.
