About the Company

Our client is a reputable international contractor delivering large-scale civil engineering and infrastructure projects in Singapore and the region. With deep expertise in complex construction environments, they operate across multiple sites, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable project delivery.

The Role

You will oversee and mentor safety teams across several project sites, ensuring compliance with all Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and environmental regulations while driving proactive safety culture improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, support, and develop safety personnel on-site to maintain consistent safety standards. Implement and maintain the Workplace Safety & Health Management System (WSHMS) and risk management processes across projects. Conduct safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly. Oversee compliance with all regulatory permits, licenses, and environmental requirements. Organise and facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety awareness campaigns. Investigate incidents and near misses, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Partner with operations teams to integrate safety into work planning and execution. Track and report safety KPIs, ensuring continual improvement and alignment with company objectives. Manage multiple project sites effectively, staying solutions-focused under pressure.

Requirements

Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health (WSQ Level C) or equivalent. MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO). Minimum 4 years' HSE experience in civil engineering, heavy construction, or related sectors. Strong understanding of lifting operations safety. Valid Class 3 driving licence
