Key Responsibilities:

Conducts inspection of the work site for the job hazard analysis and risks assessment.
Plans and implements health and safety programs to reduce incidences of accident and illness.
Facilitates administration of first aid to an injured employee, and transport to clinic or hospital: may be tasked to perform first aid and employ basic life support as necessary.
Familiarizes with the regulatory requirement in construction works and activities and determines the role of the Safety Officer in its compliance.

Job Qualifications:

College Graduate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar courses
Possesses a certificate in Construction Occupational Safety and Health and First-aid Training
Knowledgeable on PEZA requirements is advantage
