DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead incident investigation and facilitates corrective and preventive actions development and monitor progress
• Liaising with law enforcement and other investigators who are present at the time of a serious accident
• Determines what policies/programs are needed and solicits inputs from managers and workers
• Observe workers ensure that they are wearing required personal protective equipment and following the safety policies
• Updating knowledge of Safety policies, laws, and procedures
• Submission Safety Monthly and Annual Report to DOLE
• Monitor and update the safety Incident Reports updating spreadsheets and follow up actions required
• Monitor and update the safety observations tracking records and follow up on the corrective actions required with the concerned personnel
• Monitors the training requirements, certifications, and records administrator
• Gather safety-related data which will be used as indicators for loss prevention
• Prepare Safety Announcements, Notices, and Weekly Safety Message
• Conduct regular safety inspections of company facilities and the workplace
• Respond to employee's safety concerns and emergencies within the company premises
• Conduct safety risk assessments
• Assist in processing and coordinating government compliance with regard to safety protocols and requirements.
• Taking part in the preparation of operational and safety schemes, specification of structure, and operations
• Participates in support and complies with the direction given by the department heads relative to the implementation of the Quality Management System and applicable Food Safety Regulatory requirements (GMP, ISO, HACCP, FSMS).
• Execute such other tasks as may be assigned by EMPLOYER.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING REQUIRED

• With BOSH / COSH /OSH Training (preferably SO3)
• With at least 2 years of experience in FMCG
• Well versed with DOLE OSH guidelines
• Computer Literate
• Team worker, flexible and hardworking
• With good project management and problem-solving skills
• With good oral and written communication skills and high confidence in dealing with a range of people at different levels of the organization
