We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Singapore, Singapore. As a Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and contractors. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety management plans, ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety management plans in accordance with local regulations and company standards
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
Review and approve Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Safety Risk Assessments (JSRA) submitted by contractors
Investigate incidents and near-misses, utilizing root cause analysis techniques to prevent future occurrences
Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees and contractors, ensuring a high level of safety awareness across the organization
Collaborate with management, employees, and external stakeholders to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions
Maintain accurate safety records and prepare detailed reports on safety performance, including lead and lag indicators
Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices, incorporating them into company policies and procedures
Provide technical guidance and support to ensure compliance with safety requirements at project sites
Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents
