Conduct toolbox meetings and implement safety and health measures at site.
Conduct regular site inspections and follow up actions to ensure HSE compliance.
Plan and implement safety programs and proactive campaigns to promote safe work practices.
Facilitate the inspection and maintenance of equipment.
Ensure each person working on site is registered in the site registry and carry out a site-specific induction for everyone.
Investigate and report on any accidents that occur and take actions to prevent re-occurrence.
Prepare Method Statements/Risk Assessments/Safe Work Procedure.
Maintain project accident statistics.
Handle all safety issues and routines at site.
Liaise with all authorities on safety matters.
Facilitate and assist in the submission for statutory licenses, permits, variances to the respective government agencies.
Review work method statements and risk assessments submitted by contractors are in line with local regulations and client\xe2\x80\x99s safety requirements.
Ensure fire fighting and security equipment are maintained.
Ensure compliance to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Conduct and mandatory regulations.
Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health or any Engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in marine shipyard operations.
Good in writing business / technical reporting and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures.
Team Player, positive attitude with sense of responsibility.
Culturally adaptable.
