Responsibilities

• Able to lead and implementation of new ISO 45001 - Occupational Heath and Safety
• Responsible for identifying, assessing and advising on risks arising from the workplace or work processes, recommending measures to eliminate or minimize and control the risks and implementing the measures.
• Develop and deliver safety briefings.
• Coach team members on how to conduct routine checks on work activities.
• Conduct Safety Walk and drive action closure.
• Establish and maintain WSHMS documentation for new site.
• Address areas of non-conformance to WSH standards through corrective actions.
• Analyse areas of non-conformance to WSH standards to determine reasons for non-conformance.
• Facilitate discussions on Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) reports and findings
• Investigate Safety Incident at workplace and to provide RCCA.
• To coordinate Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) drills and the maintenance of emergency response equipment.
• To work with various department in driving process Risk Assessment and to conduct hazard identification.
• Develop an action plan based on best solutions identified during Hazard and Risk Identification
• Drive WSH activities to ensure department compliance with requirements, and further improvements of the work space and impact to external environment.
• Support internal audit schedules for safety and to ensure compliances, and further improvements of the work space

Requirements

• Minimum Specialist Diploma in WSH.
• Registered WSH Officer with MOM
• Minimum 3 years' WSHO experience.
• Experience in the implementation of ISO 45001.
• Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure.
• Good Communication skills and interpersonal skills.
