Safety Officer
Job Description
The safety officer is required to perform work duties at project site. He is to advise the management accordingly on the compliance of safety regulations and procedures as required by MOM. The job description is as follows: a. Formulate Company's workplace safety and health policy, risk management plan and project's risk assessment measures.b. Ensure the project's SOP in place complies with the in house safety rules and project requirements.c. Carry out Risk Assessment Measures for in house and project sites.d. Develop in house Safety induction Course for Project.e. Conduct regular checks at project site to ensure works conducted complies with project safety regulations and procedures.f. Conduct investigation of any workplace accident and provide advice on any preventive measures to prevent similar incidents from happening.Requirements: a. Marine experience preferred.b. Minimum 2 -3 years of relevant experience Safety Officer with qualifications certified by MOM.
