Job Description

Contract (9 months)Responsibilities Responsible for the implementation of the project's safety and health management system Advise the Occupier, Project Director / Project Manager or any other person in-charge of the work site on the applicable Safety and Health Legislations and in accordance to Airport Safety Requirements. Inspect the worksite to determine whether there is any machinery, plant, equipment, process used in the worksite which possess a risk to any person working or employed in the worksite. Assist in investigating into any accident and dangerous occurrence which took place within the worksite together with the Site Management and the Occupier or Client. Prepare comprehensive accident report and determine the root causes. Recommend the necessary Corrective Actions to prevent recurrence. Prepare Monthly Safety Report for submission to HQ. Review, establish and upkeep the Safe Work Procedure and Risk Assessment for the Occupier, Sub-contractors and suppliers based on CAG Risk Matrix. Conduct or direct his WSHC conduct safety training related to the activity based on Safe Work Procedure / Risk Assessment and Method Statements. Establish, review, update and improve Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) procedures, measures and policies in accordance to statutory requirements. Lead and manage emergency situation, project safety personnel and manage site WSH matters for both, the Company and sub-contractors. Ensure legal compliance to all statutory safety and environmental regulations and timely submission of mandatory documents to Authorities, Occupier or Client. Enforce Occupier's In-House Rules and Regulations on all stake holders and take action when necessary for non-compliance. Work closely with the Project Team to eliminate any security, safety, health andenvironment hazards over at the worksite. Perform regular ad-hoc WSH Inspections to ensure Site Team are working safely and in accordance to Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures or Method Statements. Act as Secretary to the workplace safety and health committee and assist the chairman in planning and directing the function of the workplace safety and health committee. Advising Site Team on the emergency preparedness procedures in collaboration with Occupier, Client, Airport Police, Airport Emergency Services. Implement safety campaigns to promote and inculcate safety culture. Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB and other relevant authorities on all WSH issues.
