To be permanently stationed at Lower Seletar Site.
To conduct regular inspections and assist in reviewing and implementing safety policies and traffic management plan at our company other worksites as required.
Implement appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
To coordinate with site workers, clients, relevant authorities on fulfilling project requirements.
To represent the Company as our WSHO during audits by clients or client’s representatives and ensure Company’s worksite can pass safety audits.
Enforce all safety requirements and company safety rules and regulations.
Create a WSHO site inspection checklist, conduct WSHO inspections and execute appropriate corrective actions independently.
Conduct training and safety promotional activities for worksite safety and training activities at our project worksite and follow up with documentation and reporting.
Review Company’s WSH Management System, Method of Statements and Risk Assessments for Project activities and otherwise as required.
Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates, and reports in accordance with WSH legislation.
Manage incidents' investigations, recommend corrective actions and follow-up on the implementations and effectiveness of actions taken.
Assist with amending and submitting site WSH reports and site progress reports drafted by WSH supervisor (including weekly safety report and weekly site report).
Participate in and take minutes for Project's monthly WSH Committee Meetings and Work Coordination Meetings at the project worksites.
Assist with Lower Seletar Weighbridge System Operations to ensure smooth delivery flows at Lower Seletar Site
Assume position of Site Manager at Lower Seletar Site, managing all other operational aspects of site day-to-day activities on top of WSHO responsibilities.
Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of WSH working experience in building construction industry.
Registered WSH Officer with MOM.
Team player with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills, self-motivated, pro-active and results-oriented.
Goal driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of the Workplace Safety and Health Act and its subsidiary legislation and other safety regulations from other Government authorities.
