Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist site management on safety and health related matters

• Implement and maintain company\xe2\x80\x99s site safety management

• Manage and oversee overall daily safety activities on site

• Check and ensure that the sub-contractors and workers are complying to safety procedures and requirements set

• Conduct site safety inspection to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and health Act and regulations.

• Conduct safety and health trainings and daily toolbox briefing

• Ensure overall compliance of good practice in workplace

• Review and revise of method statement and risk assessment as and when required

• Ensure risk assessment are carried out and controls are implemented for all site activities

• Preparation and submission of safety and health reports and other related documents

• Coordinate safety and health activities and project site

• Liaise with client and authorities on all safety and health matters

• Ensure that all safety and health documentations are maintained and readily available upon request

• Lead or assist in incident / workplace investigations and corrective action recommendations

• Any other duties assigned by superior from time to time
  

• WSQ: Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent as required under WSH regulations

• Managing Work-At-Height Course or equivalent (Work at Height for Assessor)

• Occupational First Aid

• BizSAFE Level 2: Risk Management

• Processes other safety certificates is an additional advantage
