The Role

Position summary statement:

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the sales administrator will provide administrative support and other office based duties for the cluster team to ensure the day-to-day productivity and requirements of the team are achieved. He/she will support e-commerce portfolio as well.

Primary Responsibilities:

a) Handle all correspondence and organise contacts between the sales team and their customers

b) Ensure telephone calls are manned and attended to promptly

c) Respond promptly to emails, fax and phone requests for information or quotes

d) Manage the mail, courier deliveries, stationery, inventory and ensure proper housekeeping

e) Data Entry tasks for the Sales Team -maintaining and updating of customer records

f) Processing purchase requisition, invoices and accounts

g) Preparing estimates and quotations for customers

h) Drawing up proposals and agreements

i) Keeping records of sales targets and actual figures and compiling them into reports for the Director of Sales

j) Assist with familiarisation trips, site inspections at the hotel level

k) Conduct telesales activities at the direction of the Director of Sales.

l) Other ad hoc duties

Operations Management

a) Provide administrative and human resource support to the Director of Sales and the team

b) Ensure smooth running of the Sales Office\'s administrative functions.

  • Good organizational, planning & coordination skills

  • Good spoken and written skills in English
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic organisation
  • Sound Microsoft office skills - practical knowledge of full suite of Microsoft Office applications
