Urban Renewables is aiming to shape the city of the future by developing and investing in sustainable energy solutions. We currently supply Solar and Electrical Vehicle charging points to many companies and condominiums in Singapore. With a small team we have large ambitions and growth potential.

Are you a Salesperson, team player and looking to work in sustainability? This could be your perfect fit! Urban Renewables is looking for an exceptional Sales & Business Development executive for our solar project business unit. We are looking for someone who is laser focused, results-oriented and great at seeking out and engaging with customers. You’ll play an extremely crucial role in the company as the first point of contact with potential customers and taking these leads through the entire process from inquiry to purchase and aftercare. You will work closely with the engineering team who will take the responsibility of executing the project.

What You'll Learn

  • Training to familiarize you with our exclusive & unique product portfolio in the renewable energy
  • Be exposed to the art of building & maintaining fruitful relationships with clients
  • Learn to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline funnel
  • Identify, manage and approach leads & prospects
  • Task prioritization, time management & operations excellence

  • Build client lists and identify key contacts
  • Actively respond to inbound email, message inquiries
  • Follow up on leads in timely manner and maintain an active pipeline of customers
  • Handle all client enquiries pre and post-purchase to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Coordinate their needs with the internal engineering & finance team
  • Assist in refining the company’s sales & business development strategy and processes including quotations
  • Provide on-site client support as necessary
  • Handle other sales-related administrative duties.

Requirements

Work experience:
  • 3+ years of sales and/or business development experience preferred
  • Minimum no less than 1 year of full-time sales experience
Skills needed:
  • Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills
  • Experience in outbound sales and/or client acquisition
  • Strong management and communication skills
  • Experience in B2B and/or B2C sales
Languages:
  • Fluency in English is a must
