Job Description


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales activities related to event booths and coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The Sales and Event Coordinator will work closely with vendors, clients, sponsors, and relevant authorities to ensure successful events and maximize sales opportunities. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive booth sales for events, including identifying potential clients, conducting sales calls, and negotiating contracts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, sponsors, and vendors to ensure repeat business and referral opportunities.
  • Liaise with vendors and clients to obtain artwork and marketing materials, and ensure timely delivery for event promotions.
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including logistics, setup, and teardown, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for events, and ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage sponsor products, including coordinating deliveries and set up, and ensuring proper placement and visibility during events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, sponsors, and vendors, and promptly address any issues or concerns.
  • Monitor and report on sales and event performance, including tracking sales metrics, event attendance, and customer feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, and make recommendations for improvements to sales and event strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the events or marketing industry.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, sponsors, and vendors.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in event planning and execution, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and permits for events, and ability to navigate the permit application process.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
