Job Description


Our client is a medical device company that is driven to revolutionalize surgery through innovative and user-centric robotic solutions. The company has created a flexible robotic surgical system that can remove early-stage gastrointestinal cancer from patients without the need for surgery and long hospital stays.

The Service Manager will lead the service activities for the company's next generation of surgical robotic systems. Our emphasis is on bright mid-career people who are interested in working for a fast-growing medical robotics company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a service business plan including forecast and analysis of cost and income of respective products.
  • Develop, implement, and manage service documents in company’s Quality System.
  • Lead and set up processes for installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair of and service contracts for medical equipment.
  • Manage service activities for clinical trials and commercial cases in logistics and administration with customer issues/complaints addressed in a timely manner.
  • Generate service quotation and repair reports.
  • Manage the review of spare parts required in supporting distributors and customers.
  • Analyze service records to identify specific problems or trends.
  • Conduct and coordinate service maintenance and repair training.
  • To provide methodology and tools to collect actionable customer insights and feed the information into the quality system.
  • Build strong relationship with global distributors and engage in regional service affairs.
  • Develop good customer relationship to enhance business opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of Bachelors in Electronic/Mechatronic/Biomedical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years of industry experience in medical or scientific products support, with at least 5 years’ experience in people and team management.
  • Experience in a service organization, especially in medical device, life science instrument, and healthcare equipment industry.
  • Understanding of medical QMS system regulatory frameworks and procedures in ISO13485.
