Job Summary



A Sales & Application Engineer (DSP) combines technical sales with expertise in digital signal processing (DSP) to support clients, develop business opportunities, and provide technical solutions for DSP-based products and systems. Responsibilities include pre-sales technical support, creating proposals and technical designs, conducting presentations, supporting marketing, and collaborating with sales and project teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth in the DSP market.





Key Responsibilities



1. Sales Strategy & Execution



Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with system integrators and end-users. Build and maintain strong client relationships within the professional IT and audio industry. Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical support teams to deliver customized solutions.

2. Market Knowledge & Insights



Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the professional audio and DSP market. Provide consultative insights to clients on how solutions can address their business needs.

3. Reporting & Forecasting



Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, account plans, and performance reports to management. Track account activities, opportunities, and pipeline progress through CRM tools.

4. Customer Support & Training



Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions for clients. Provide post-sales support and resolve client issues effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements



2-3 years' experience in sales engineering, application engineering, or technical sales (experience in DSP/professional audio is an advantage). Strong understanding of DSP concepts and professional audio systems. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage accounts and achieve sales targets. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-6.30pm Basic Salary: Up to S$5500
