We are looking for a Sales Development Representative, SEA to join our Corporates team within the Asia & Emerging Markets unit. The Sales Development team is essential in Thomson Reuters\xe2\x80\x99 sales efforts and is responsible for a combination of demand response, demand management and demand creation. You would be responsible to generate qualified pipeline that progresses through the sales funnel, generating new closed revenue. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be prospecting into key markets in Southeast Asia (SEA).

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Sales Development Representative, SEA, you will be responsible for:

  • Prospect Identification: Identify and research potential leads and target accounts within our defined customer segments.
  • Outbound Outreach: Initiate outbound calls, emails, and social media engagements to connect with prospects and introduce them to our products.
  • Lead Qualification: Assess the suitability of prospects by asking probing questions to understand their needs, challenges, and potential fit with our solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our offerings and effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value propositions to prospects.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified appointments and demonstrations for our Account Managers to engage with interested prospects.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and activities within our CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Account Managers to discuss and strategize methods to penetrate targeted accounts with the objective of setting quality meetings.
  • Own the Targets: Keep a close track on targets with a goal to hit or exceed your monthly and annual targets and maintain consistently strong performance.
  • Customer Engagement: Keep the customer at the forefront of everything you do, building connections and ensuring customer satisfaction.
About You

You\xe2\x80\x99re a fit for the role of Sales Development Representative, SEA if you are/have:
  • Good communication skills in English
  • 3 or more years within SDR or B2B inside sales
  • Proven track record of exceeding against quota and/or other performance metrics and working cross-functionally to achieve sales objectives and targets.
  • Demonstrable \xe2\x80\x9chunter\xe2\x80\x9d sales mentality - using sales enablement tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, sales automation, and CRM (Salesforce)
  • Tenacious: You are determined to succeed, and you are motivated by the success of customers, team members and the wider organization.
  • Curious: You are always learning and seeking ways to make things better.
  • Conscientious: You keep your promises, taking your commitments to others seriously, and you have strong integrity.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting into corporates in the SEA region is advantageous.
