Salary: Excellent, plus high commission Our client is a leading innovative research business providing a platform for the scholarly and research space. Due to continued growth, they now require a new Sales Director to lead the sales efforts as a senior individual contributor, with a focus on new partnerships. This role will oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. You will also play a mentorship role, providing guidance and support to more junior team members, helping them to achieve their targets and develop their sales skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Work strategically to create new opportunities, meetings and meaningful connections.
• Working at the C-suite level to engage senior stakeholders
• Work with the executive team to develop and execute the company\xe2\x80\x99s organic growth strategy
• Oversee and take responsibility for the full sales process
• Represent the company at key events & conferences
• Lead projects cross-functionally with Sales, marketing, and in particular the Product Team
• Work with clients to understand the desire for new solutions
• Support the Sales and Account teams with training, industry insight, networking and other skills to enable personal development
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns

• Excellent network within the scholarly world & a natural flair for developing and building new relationships
• Previous experience as a senior or director level, within a Sales role. Ideally in an individual contributor role
• Experience in the scholarly publishing industry
• Exceptional track record working towards revenue targets with quantifiable success
• Exceptional at developing relationships with clients, across all levels
• Excellent communicator, whether presenting or written
• Metrics-focused
• Proficiency in CRM software
