Sales Engineer (Parts & Service) Working Location: Boon Lay Working Days: Monday - Friday Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm Basic salary: SGD 3,500 to SGD 5,000, 13 month, SGD 250 transport allowance Sales Engineer (Parts & Service) Working Location: Boon Lay Working Days: Monday - Friday Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm Basic salary: SGD 3,500 to SGD 5,000, 13 month, SGD 250 transport allowance Basic Functions Lead sales within Business Unit to strive for anticipated growth targets as well as to breach new markets to ensure captive market share year on year. Develop effective strategies and plans to increase spare parts market share and revenue. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and executes sales business plans to secure profitable growth and development of the spare parts business within the industry Proactively handles all opportunities from leads to ensure timely fulfilment and profitability of business unit Conducts and provides accurate forecast and sales pipeline plans to management for planning Actively promotes Service Sales (Aftermarket products) to distributors in conjunction with spare parts sales Collaborates with the sales team to develop sales strategies to target new opportunities recognized within existing accounts Collaborates with the sales team to develop sales strategies to target new opportunities recognized within existing accounts Have in-depth knowledge on wide range of diesel industrial engines (small to large capacity) to provide support to distributors in terms of spare parts technical advice Gathers information and conduct regular market surveys to analyse demand, competition and trends in the spare parts industry providing regular feedback to senior management, production, marketing regarding industry trends and outlook Optimizes inventory level (own stock and consignment stock at customer site) to achieve low stock-up cost and satisfactory parts availability to customers Maintains accurate records of all projects, pricings, sales, and activity reports Creates and conducts proposal presentations for sales representatives, customers, and prospects Leads and participates in continuous improvement projects in cross-functional areas Performs any other parts sales and aftermarket duties as and when assigned Qualifications / Requirements Diploma/degree in Sales/Business/Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in spare parts or automotive industry This position requires fair amount of traveling in the Asia Pacific and South East Asia Region (15-20%) Possess strong customer service mind-set with keen enthusiasm for spare parts/power generation products Prior spare parts experience with engines manufacturers will be advantageous
