Job Description
Position: Sales Engineer (Commercial)
- Responsible for receiving and reviewing customers\xe2\x80\x99 technical specification and requirements, for the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for the timely submission to customers
- Support the responsible Area Sales Manager/Sales Manager for the assigned Sales Area for tender bid clarification
- Attend clarification meetings with customers when required.
- Responsible for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order
- Develop and deliver technical solutions presentations to the customers
- Work closely with the Project and Service departments for project execution
- Maintain and foster excellent relationships with all internal stakeholder as well as external customers, suppliers and partners
- Attending trade show exhibitions, conferences and other marketing events
Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- At least 1 to 2 year(s) of working experience in the marine industry
- Good communication (both oral and written English) and presentation skill
- Mature, detailed oriented, independent and able to meet Sales Target
- Occasional overseas travelling is required
- Preferably with own transport
- Knowledge of Navigation Equipment in the Marine Industry will be an advantage
