J2 Subsea, part of Acteon Group, provide ROV tooling products and services for the ROV and underwater survey markets. We aim to deliver a responsive, high-quality service to our customers establishing long-lasting business relationships built on trust. Our operations focus on four key areas: rental, service and repair of ROV manipulator arms, rental of ROV tooling equipment, ROV engineering support and underwater survey engineering support.J2 Subsea seeks to recruit a skilled Sales Engineer to join our Singapore-based team. As we expand our operations across the APAC region, we require an individual to serve as our on-site representative, driving business growth. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for the growth and development of our three Product Service Offerings: Tooling Rentals, Sales of Spare Parts, and Workshop Repairs. The successful candidate will develop a robust and balanced pipeline of opportunities across the APAC region. This role is directly accountable to the General Manager to deliver or exceed the agreed financial targets.Duties/Responsibilities

  • Identify key market drivers, customers and competitors and monitor competitor position
  • Leading and promoting the Rental and Sales effort within the company
  • Raise quotations and Purchase Orders for rentals equipment, sales, and workshop activities
  • Work with the General Manager & J2 Subsea operations to identify risks and opportunities, develop appropriate strategy and approach to develop the J2 brand in the region
  • Identify and develop new customers throughout the Asia-Pac region on behalf of our represented products
  • Tasked with promoting the company\'s rental, sales and workshop services currently offered, namely our ROV Tooling, sales of OEM Spares and Manipulator repairs
  • Liaise with other J2 bases to ensure equipment requirements are met
  • Ensure that a client database is maintained at all times, including not only all details of projects and orders but also key customer contact names and communication details
  • Ensure market intelligence on pricing, competitors and geographic developments are monitored and acted upon to position J2 Subsea competitively in the market
  • Represent J2 Subsea at key industry and corporate events to develop the brand profile and sales pipeline
  • Provide a weekly report to the General Manager / Managing Director, including rental orders and revenue forecast, details of new leads and prospects on any market developments or trends that may impact the business
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure sufficient quality materials are available to enhance sales
  • Ensure work is in line with various areas of compliance, including but not restricted to Customs/Export Control/Import/Anti-Bribery/QA
Requirements
  • Experience in sales or service sales from the oil and gas industry is preferred
  • Demonstrate effective self-management aligned with company values, goals, and objectives
  • Uphold integrity through transparent and honest interactions with staff, clients, and suppliers, adhering to business policies
  • Play an active role in maintaining product and service quality to meet customer expectations fully
  • Ideally have a clean driving license and the ability to travel to regional companies when necessary
  • Singapore citizens, permanent residents (PR) in Singapore are encouraged to apply
