Job Description

Our client is a global MNC specializing in VoIP/UC/Contact Center solutions in the ITC industry looking for an experienced Sales Engineer in all sales activity in the ASEAN & ME region.

A SE is a senior position and as such requires at least 5 years of experience in the technical field of Data/ VoIP/Contact Center SW and HW. The SE should have system \xe2\x80\x9chands on\xe2\x80\x9d and engineering capabilities while understanding the overall customer requirements to be in a position to lead him to the best solution of both company and partner products.

The SE is in charge of all technical activities in the sales process from the opportunity phase until it is ready to be handed over to the post sale phase.

The SE is part of the region\xe2\x80\x99s sales organization. It is expected that this individual is knowledgeable in VoIP/UC/CC products.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to the sales force during (onsite) sales calls
• Provide pre-sales technical support (\xe2\x80\x9cHands on capabilities\xe2\x80\x9d- a must)
• Provide technical support during first time installation of new products together with partners and End Users
• Pre-sales technical interface to the channel/partner while nurturing and managing of technical knowledge transfer to the partners.
• Analyze the technical fit of VoIP/UC/CC products against the prospects\xe2\x80\x99 and customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements
• Deliver customer presentations and hands-on product demonstrations, hence product setup knowledge is a requirement.
• Provide product training to customers, prospects and Sales during the pre-sales phase.
• Lead RFP\xe2\x80\x99s/RFI technical responses
• Provide technical assistance to marketing for regional events (e.g. seminars, road shows etc.)
• Supervise and manage interoperability tests for systems.
• Support Customer Premise Equipment interoperability tests between carrier and company products in the region.
• Leading Proof of Concept activities in the region.

• Engineering or university Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or similar education.
• 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 professional experience in a VOIP and data networking related field.

• UC + PBX/IP-PBX experience (Microsoft Team, Zoom and or Cisco).
• Extensive knowledge of fixed line telecommunication systems
• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN communication systems Hand-on capabilities
• Strong SIP protocol experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Skype for Business \xe2\x80\x93 An Advantage.
• Knowledge of Contact Center solutions (Genesys, Avaya or others) \xe2\x80\x93 An Advantage.
• Knowledge of PC environment.
