Seeking a dynamic and results-oriented candidate to join newly established joint venture company focused on delivering cutting-edge maritime battery energy solutions (hybrid and fully electric). The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing the customer base, building brand presence, and driving revenue growth during the JV's startup phase.
Immediate Tasks for Q1
Exhibition setup in various upcoming conference, preparing the pre-sales material including logo design, website development, LinkedIn setup, email domain & cloud space, letterhead, PPT theme, project case studies development
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify, approach, and develop new customers in the maritime sector (shipowners, shipyards, integrators, operators and ports).
Promote battery energy solutions, hybrid power systems, and related products/services.
Manage the entire sales cycle -- from lead generation and presentations to negotiation and closing deals.
Market Intelligence
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities in target regions.
Provide regular feedback to management on market conditions, customer requirements, and pricing strategies.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries, proposals, and after-sales support coordination.
JV Setup & Collaboration
Support the establishment of sales processes, and reporting structure for the JV company.
Work closely with partners, designers, and technical teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Commercial & Contract Support
Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
Assist in contract negotiation and ensure commercial terms align with JV policies.
Sales Reporting
Provide timely sales forecasts, exhibition setup, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.
Track KPIs and contribute to achieving annual sales targets.
Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of proven sales experience in the maritime, offshore, or energy sector.
Familiarity with electrical systems, batteries, or hybrid solutions preferred but not mandatory (technical training will be provided).
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a startup environment.
Willingness to travel regionally (SEA & Middle East).
Able to fluently speak both Chinese and English
