Job Description

The Sales Executive will be responsible for customer engagement, sales generation, and account servicing. This role requires managing day-to-day sales activities, expanding the client base, and working closely with the sales team to achieve monthly targets.





Key Responsibilities



Respond promptly to sales inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings. Prepare accurate and timely quotations and proposals tailored to customer requirements. Deliver effective after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and needs analysis. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base. Collaborate with sales team members to drive growth and consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets. Prepare and submit monthly sales reports. Support the Head of Sales in sales planning, strategy development, and related initiatives. Source and procure materials locally or externally to fulfill customer orders. Work closely with the logistics team to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment collection and adherence to credit terms.


Education & Skills



Minimum Diploma in Sales/Marketing or relevant field. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills. Team player with a collaborative attitude.


Experience



Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience in a similar capacity servicing customers in the marine, oil & gas, construction, or engineering sector. Experience in the steel, oil & gas, construction, or industrial supply sectors preferred. Candidates from related industries are encouraged to apply.
