The Role We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our company. In Wilhelmsen Port Services, we provide our customers with piece of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers’ port calls as efficient and safe as possible. Who you are: You will assist in the Maritime Logistics Department who is the single point of contact for inquiries. You have to handle enquiries proactively and professionally. The Sales Executive will report to Maritime Logistics Manager. What you will be doing:

  • Strive to increase the enquiry hit rate and keep a record of all inquiries received and reason of lost enquiries.
  • Ensure that all bookings are handled without delay and assigned to operations.
  • Pro-active cooperation with Operations at all levels to build a strong team spirit pulling in the same direction.
  • Engage actively in finding solutions to customer’s challenges and act as partner in all dealings with customers.
  • Support maintenance of relationships with operations personnel both internally and externally
  • Assist in arranging business reviews and prepare all analyses in advance, inclusive KPI reporting.
  • Conduct follow-up visits and evaluating the vital needs of the clients.
  • Meet goals and target to fulfill an overall revenue objective.

Ideal Profile Required experience and skills:
  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience preferably in the Maritime industry or ships agency operations.
