Our client is an Ipoh Innovator and manufacturer of steel wire and wire meshes and has a warehouse in Singapore for the distribution of our products. We are established in 1982 boasting 40 years of trusted experience in conjunction with our 40th Anniversary. Our client manufactures and distributes galvanized steel wire, steel wire mesh for concrete reinforcement, galvanized welded mesh, stainless steel wire mesh, low and high-carbon hard-drawn wire, steel bar, chain link fencing, and barbed wires. The majority of products are used in the construction, manufacturing, mining, housing development, farming, and agriculture industries. The Job

Your Responsibilities will include:
  • Assist the Country Manager in managing all sales and marketing functions in the designated markets Promoting the company's existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
  • Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by regular visit, understanding their needs and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Obtain and analyze competitive environment in designated markets
  • Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences and workshop, reading, publications and maintaining personal and professional network.
  • Market development for existing and new markets
  • To coordinate Customer Complaint process
  • Manage credit and collection effectively
Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:
  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Marketing, Business Studies/Administration or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferable candidate from similar industry or hardware.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and creative thinking.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results.
  • Good Commercial knowledge with outstanding negotiation, presentation, communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Passion in sales.
  • Willing to travel around the country and oversea.
  • Candidates who possessed their own transport will be an added advantage for this role
  • Candidates need to communicate with Mandarin-speaking counterparts for this role.
  • You possess solid expertise in Direct Sales.
  • Experience within Area Sales would be a strong advantage.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
  • You are willing to undertake 30-50% travel.
