-The Opportunity:Adecco is collaborating with a South Korean trading and investment company operates in various industries, including steel, chemicals, machinery, automotive, and energy. It connects suppliers and customers globally through a strong network and expertise in international trade. The company is known for its strategic market approach, solid industry relationships, and commitment to quality service. With a long history in the market, it has earned a reputation for reliability and excellence.As a Sales Executive will manage the sales of Korean-origin steel in Singapore, maintain relationships with the supplier and customers, and coordinate trade financing through a triangular structure involving a third country. The role includes overseeing accounts receivable management, analyzing trading data, and preparing reports for stakeholders.

• Work location: Central
• Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm
• Salary: up to $4,200 + AWS + VB

The Job:

• Manage the sales of Korean-origin steel products within the Singaporean market.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the steel supplier and customers in Singapore.
• Coordinate the financing of steel trades through a triangular structure, involving sales to a third country.

• Example of Trading Flow: Korea (Headquarters) -> Singapore (Financing) -> Third Country (Buyer).
• Oversee accounts receivable management for all relevant products.
• Analyze trading data and prepare detailed reports for the supplier and headquarters.

The Talent:

• 1-3 years of proven experience in steel trading, preferably from a steel stockiest or trading house.
• Diligent and conscientious work ethic with strong risk management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese language to communicate with native English and Chinese speaking counterparts based overseas.
