communication, navigation, and automation systems in the offshore oil and gas industries.Key Responsibilities:Reporting To: Director, Maritime Connectivity SolutionsJob Overview: We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Satellite Subscriptions (Airtime) Team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing business development plans and sales strategies that align with our business objectives, driving profitability and revenue growth.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend strategic business development plans and sales strategies for the Satellite Subscriptions (Airtime) Team in alignment with the Business Unit\'s objectives to enhance profitability and sales growth.
  • Engage with targeted customers to identify and understand their specific needs.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations and commercial proposals to effectively follow up on sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to create tailored, high-quality proposals that align with customer requirements.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-sales assistance and ongoing after-sales support to customers.
  • Implement and execute business plans in accordance with corporate goals to meet sales performance targets.
  • Coordinate closely with the Technical Manager to ensure efficient sales processes and the successful delivery of systems and services to customers.
  • Work alongside the Network Support team to address customer inquiries and nurture relationships with existing clients.
  • Undertake any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Director of Maritime Connectivity Solutions.
Requirements:
  • Min. Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering.
  • Min. 4 to 8 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in sales.
  • Established sales network within the marine industry and familiarity with Maritime Satellite services is advantageous.
  • Previous experience as a Radio Officer is a plus.
  • Strong relationships with ship managers and owners are beneficial.
  • Excellent business acumen, alongside outstanding communication and presentation skills.
