Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Developing an annual sales plan which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, and which focuses on meeting organizational objectives.
Developing new, innovative ideas of marketing the company's herbal ingredient products.
Contacting prospective customers
Conducting market research to expand customer base
Servicing customer accounts through regular contact, creating sales quotations, handling customer requirements, and supervising product shipment
Attending industry tradeshows and conferences
Identifying and evaluating ingredient trends
Working with the Purchasing Marketing Department to create related marketing materials
Tracking sales figures and meeting sales objectives
Handling CPG orders when necessary
Qualifications:
5 years of sales or marketing experience in the Medicine and Herbs
Prior knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices including product specifications, Certificates of Analysis and Vendor Qualification preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills, professional phone manner, pleasant demeanor.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle many details in a medium paced environment.
Ability to organize and work independently
* Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), Acrobat, and Internet Explorer.
